Q: Does anyone know where to get used phones for cheap? I already have a plan with sprint but I am looking for a different phone.
A: eBay is your best bet. Just check the seller's feedback to make sure they seem reputable. Also, try and get an ESN number so you can call Sprint with it to make sure the phone isn't stolen. By and large, most are not, but if you like to be careful then it's a good idea no matter where you get a used phone from. Other places to check would be your local classified section or a pawn shop. I've even seen the occasional cell phone at a second hand store. I'd still recommend eBay, based on price, selection and quality.
I'm considering buying a used cell phone from Craigslist the person who owns it says shes using it until I buy it and then will switch over to a new phone. Should I be concerned about a clear ESN # or any other concerns.?

Sprint's collection rate for 2009 was 42 percent, up from a 34 percent rate the previous year. In total, Sprint's take back programs have diverted more than 20 million cell phones from landfills for reuse or recycling since 2001.
I cancelled my sprint service plan and now have a sanyo cell that was used for sprint, my question is this, can i use the cell phone for a verizon plan
does anyone know where i can buy a used cell phone compatible to sprint ,my old phone was stolen and have no insurance, acually i have one of the newest phones from motorola L6 that was given to me yet cannot use it with sprint i am willing to do a trade in .
