Sony Dvd Player
Q: Hi,
I brought a SONY DVD Player in Canada; Model no. DVP-NS63P. After then, I brought some DVD Video from Far East ( Hong Kong ) during the summer Holidays. But found that the DVD Video can not read and Play those DVD which I bring back from Hong Kong . As I know that the DVD Video has their own code for their own Country, this maybe the main problem that my DVD Player can not...

I have a Sony DVP-NC85H DVD/CD player and since I'm from Europe, but live in US now, how can I make the player play my old dvds or even the new ones I wanna get with my national language? I saw this dvd program that would unregion my player, is it true or just a hoax? Thanks a lot!
I purchased this TV on black friday and received it the following tuesday. It is perfect for gaming and graphics look amazing when I play on my xbox 360. Though the problems start occuring with image quality when you watch tv or dvd’s. You will have to have cable with hd programing, which cost alot of money, as if you try to watch with an antenna it looks worse than on a standard definition tv. Though with the switch over to DTV that will change. The next problem I encountered was with my dvd player. I have a sony dvd/vcr combo player, just got it last year, and it looked very bad. The quality is similar to a movie that was recorded with a very crappy digital camera. So you will also have to buy a upscaling dvd player and get a hdmi cable. So if you get this tv, be sure to get that as well. I was able to hook the dvd player up to component and that improved it slightly but again, it looks better on a standard definition tv. I also have to switch wires around if I want to watch a tape as the vcr section of the player will not work when the dvd player is hooked up to component. Overall this is a great tv and it would have gotten 5 had it not had the major issue with image quality.
I was pretty surprised to see the negative reviews on this product by more people than not. I haven’t experienced any picture problems with this TV. I’m not a big tech guy so I don’t pay too much attention to that many specs but I just don’t see where the complaints are coming from. Never had a complaint about the colors or picture in general.
The one complain I have is that sometimes it takes a solid 3-5 seconds to change a channel, especially if you’re switching to an HD channel. It’s kind of annoying if you’re switching between two games or two shows when one or the other is on a commercial, but it’s not a deal breaker for me at least.
If you’re unhappy with this TV you’re pretty hard to please in my mind. If that’s the case just fork over the money for a Samsung. I thought this set was reasonably priced for a 37″ and again other than it not being absolutely perfect I don’t have any problem recommending it to someone.

Am planning to buy a DVD Player. Can anybody tell me how good the Sony DVP-NS608P model is ? I couldn't find any review for the product in the net. Has it got USB connectivity ?
I have a SONY DVD player. Is it possible to get only the speakers, which comes along the home system and connect it to the player, will it have the same effects as the home system set. Or will there be any difference while doing so?,
