Q: i was wondering if someone can still buy an iPod classic with 20g instead of the massive amounts of 80g or 160g? my husband wants one but we don't have that many songs or videos to fill up the bigger classics. we probably won't have that many songs ever.
A: if u don't need that much memory from the classic you can buy a refurbished ipod video from apple and then use it and then it want hold as much but it is way cooler and it comes in 30 and 80 gig versions and you will pay from 129.99 to 179.99 for one

Dude its like the exact same thing isn't it. Except the ipod classic has the half screen thing. Should I trade in my Ipod video 30gb for an ipod classic. If so, why is the classic so much better.

Apple has been getting greener every week, it seems. First we reported on Greenpeace’s finding that Apple was moving up the ranks of the cleanest tech companies . Next, it was Apple’s home energy management device .
Now the innovation du jour is Apple’s patent on incorporating transparent solar panels into a portable media device, a.k.a. iPod. As solar panels are becoming the new eco-bling, this can only boost Apple’s credibility as a progressive and ‘green’ company. But will the user experience actually change?
The iPod Classic already has a lithium ion battery with 36 hours of audio playback or 6 hours of video. With the iPod Touch, you get 30 hours audio 6 hours video.For either device, the battery life is pretty long. Personally, I think of it in terms of watching three movies in a row and then taking a short nap before landing on a cross country flight. I might even have power to spare for the cab ride home.
I need a detailed comparison. Please give me a difference such as, supporting video formats, or ability to play video, etc.
If ipod classic can play videos, why is ipod video so expenxive? Can Ipod classic play videos? It seems it can but it doesn't make any sense.
I currently have a 2nd Generation iPod Nano with 4GB. I ran out of space and I need to buy a new iPod. When do you think the new iPod classic will be released? Is it worth the wait, or should I just buy a 6th Generation?
Also, I'm planning to buy this in a few months when I will have extra money. My friend said that perhaps the 7th generation will come out sooner because of problems with the 6th.
