Q: I want an Electronic Organizer for schedules, addresses, phone numbers, so on, but I don't want it to have phone capabilities. What am I looking for? This is a serious question. I can't remember what they are called. Also, any suggestions for a good one?
A: A PDA?
Palm makes some great ones still (TX, Tungsten, etc.).
There are others based on Windows Mobile OS, but they aren't as easy to use.
Currently I use a paper planner/organizer and make tons of paper lists to keep myself organized.
I was thinking about switching to an electronic organizer. I don't need all the bells and whistles really, just a planner/date manager and maybe a note pad for to do lists.
I really don't want to spend much because I really only need those two things, so the cheaper the better I suppose.
Any thoughts? Advice?
A firm run by the man who patented the PDA and electronic organizer has filed a lawsuit against Motorola and Research in Motion, claiming that those corporations violated his patents by implementing visual voicemail features in their devices.
Mobile Burn says that Judah Klausner claims to hold no less than 24 patents related to visual voicemail, and that he has already won settlements from mobile management companies like Verizon, LG, and Google, as well as several others, though the amounts of those settlements have not been disclosed.
At issue are Motorola’s CLIQ smartphone and the Blackberry Bold 9700, which both include versions of visual voicemail. Visual voicemail systems allow users to organize their audio messages via a graphical list, so that they can skip or re-order the messages that they want to listen to.
The Associated Press reports that the two companies’ stocks were unaffected by the announcement, as Motorola and RIM both posted slight
I need a compatible electronic organizer that has due dates and many different characteristics. Price doesn't matter. PLEASE HELP
I have a very bad memory due to a disability. I need an organizer to save phone #s and dates and to remind me of upcoming events.
I was thinking a palm pilot with a keyboard. Or something like that.
What is out there? I am disabled, so cost and easy use are huge factors.
Thank you for your help!
